1. Increase the population base of our region, with special emphasis on encouraging members to promote and develop opportunities for country residential developments and immigration.
2. Encourage and promote inter-community cooperation in the development of an infrastructure to meet the needs of the tourism industry.
3. Assist communities to identify and develop the potential economic benefits which may accrue from new opportunities in value added processing.
4. Strengthen the existing economic base of our region by providing advice and assistance to new and existing businesses, entrepreneurs and organizations.
5. Identifying and encouraging inter-community initiatives to attract a greater proportion of the petroleum service sector to our region.
6. Identify opportunities for co-operative ventures with Nekaneet First Nation and encourage their active participation in CHREDA.
7. Conduct the affairs of the REDA in a manner which is both fiscally and operationally accountable to our shareholders.

Core Services
CHREDA provides its membership with a wide range of customized services to ensure the maximum potential for regional development can be attained. These services fall under seven main headings:
1). Education- CHREDA's goal is to educate their members on the importance of a sustainable economy. CHREDA puts a conscience effort into educating the region of the importance of cooperation and communication between members.
2). Coordination- CHREDA offers coordination services for existing local and regional economic development organizations, governments, and community groups that wish to implement projects or programs within the service region.
3). Organizational assistance- CHREDA assists members in organizational planning surrounding operation, implementation, and management in order to meet the objectives of the client seeking assistance.
4). Advisory services- CHREDA acts as an adviser to their members needs in order to help sustain the regional economy.
5). Promotion and Marketing- CHREDA offers promotion and marketing services to those who are in need of assistance, and also actively promotes and markets its organization throughout the region.
6). Project development and management- CHREDA has the tools and resources to develop, implement and manage economic initiatives within its service region. Economic initiatives must be supported and driven by the community to create a sustainable economy.
7). Research - CHREDA researches and gathers information on the region's economy.
All REDA activities are designed to include as many aspects of the foregoing as may be applicable.
